Any WVU Student can submit a film, video, or animation to the festival for consideration.

 entry is 100% free for students!

What can I submit?

All genres are welcome! Media allowed:

  • Traditional Films

  • Experimental / Abstract Films

  • Music Videos / Movie Trailers

  • 2D / 3D Animations

  • Montages

  • Time-Lapses

  • Gifs

  • Video Installations /  VR films

  • Stop Motion Videos

  • Animatics

  • Remixes / Mashups

  • Documentary / Mockumentary

  • PSA videos

  • and more…

How do I submit?

Simple, just fill out the Entry Form at the bottom of this page & upload your work to Drive, Vimeo, or Dropbox. Ensure that the link to your video is active until the date of the festival. Must be downloadable from one of these!

Just a few rules for WVU Students:

  • Works should be fairly recent (five years or less).

  • Entries should not be longer than 15 minutes.

  • We do not show ads or promos.

  • You may enter up to 2 works. Each work needs a separate form.

  • Mature topics are allowed, but the festival reserves the right to not show films it deems overly offensive, violent, or obscene.

Accepted student films announced on:

MARCH 2ND, 2026

Acceptance is not guaranteed.

All submissions will be reviewed by festival organizers and a jury of student filmmakers.
